Website Camp is a charitable tech initiative created to empower underfunded, grassroots nonprofit organizations in Uganda by giving them a meaningful digital presence. We match registered nonprofit organizations with passionate volunteer website developers who donate their time and skills to build simple, professional websites — free of charge.
We believe that every organization making a difference deserves to be seen and heard online. Whether it’s through a WordPress site, Joomla, Drupal, or any other preferred CMS, we work collaboratively to bring these causes to life on the web.

How It Works
Application:
Eligible nonprofits submit an application through our website.
Screening:
We review each application to ensure it meets the criteria.
Matching:
We pair the nonprofit with a volunteer developer based on skills, availability, and platform preference.
Collaboration:
The two parties work remotely to design and build a simple, functional website that reflects the nonprofit’s mission and work.
Launch
Once complete, the website goes live, and training is provided (where needed) so the nonprofit can manage it going forward.
